The Clearing

Field Notes

The mapmaker is also walking the terrain.

These are personal observations from an actual life lived beneath the truths Canon & Compass explores.

They are not a separate destination or a personality blog. They are a quieter stream inside The Clearing: places where theology acquires flesh, the writer remains a fellow traveler, and God’s faithfulness is witnessed rather than merely explained.

A Note on the Form

Personal, not private. Witness, not lesson. Still oriented toward Christ.

Notes from the Terrain

Some experiences do not need to become a diagnosis or a pathway. Sometimes the faithful ending is simpler: this happened, this is what I saw, and this is what I am grateful for.

Return to The Clearing

If you need help naming the ground beneath your own feet, the main Clearing sequence remains the best place to begin.
